Gökhan Gündoğdu | Lawyer

Attorney Gökhan Gündoğdu graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 2009. He began his professional journey as a trainee at a law firm specialising in intellectual property law and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association in 2010, marking the beginning of his career as a practising lawyer.
 

For eight years, he served as Senior Legal Counsel at the furniture and textile subsidiaries of one of Türkiye’s leading industrial groups. During this period, he developed extensive experience in a range of legal disciplines, including international trade, contract management, corporate law, industrial property rights, and employment law, handling complex and strategically significant legal matters.
 

His responsibilities included negotiating and managing contracts with dealers and suppliers, serving as a member of the Disciplinary Board, and coordinating legal matters between the company’s global subsidiaries and international business partners. He also successfully oversaw legal matters relating to the group’s investments across various sectors.
 

Since 2020, through his own legal practice, he has provided professional legal advice and representation to clients who are citizens of Türkiye, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Switzerland, as well as to certain China-based companies.
 

Further strengthening his international practice, Gökhan Gündoğdu became a member of the Freiburg Bar Association in 2025. In Germany, he continues to provide legal services in the field of Turkish law pursuant to Section 206 of the German Federal Lawyers’ Act (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung – BRAO), as a avukat specializing in Turkish law".
